Do clients pay to hire?
No. Clients pay only the engagement fee they agree with the expert, plus the small Escrow Africa transaction fee shown above. No platform fee, no markup.
Who pays the escrow fee?
Escrow Africa charges the client a small fee (from around 1%) at the point of funding the milestone. It's not a platform fee — Expert Marketplace doesn't take a cut of your transactions at any tier. Your subscription is our only revenue.
What happens after my trial ends?
Your account moves to permanent Free automatically. Nothing is charged. Your profile stays live, your escrow history stays visible. You choose when — or whether — to upgrade.
Can I switch tiers or cancel?
Anytime, from your settings. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle. Cancellations are immediate — no lock-in, no exit fees.
How do I pay?
Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo), Ghana bank card, or bank transfer. Everything invoiced in GHS. Diaspora experts can pay by international card if preferred.
Is there a fee for law firms or agencies?
Firms of 3+ experts get Team pricing on the Elite plan — talk to us. Every partner keeps an individual profile linked to the firm page.
